Mama's - ALBERTA BEACH

We were on a day trip in the country and en route to home. One of us very badly needed a washroom. We arrived at Alberta Beach and hit the first gas station to be greeted by a sign saying No Public Restrooms ! We drove 50 meters to Mamas and our problem was solved. The restaurant already gets great reviews for it 's food. It deserves kudos as well for being 110% traveler friendly. Thanks Mamas for Being Kind !

We heard about this spot from friends and checked it out after hitting the local Farmers Market on Sunday. What a great tip and decision to come here for lunch. There were four of us and we ordered a clubhouse, half order of Nachos, pizza and bacon cheeseburger. Food was all excellent and portions absolutely massive! The half nachos for $10. was incredible! Still large enough for two and a fantastic meal. Food quality was top notch, waitresses were excellent and a great ambiance here as small town, laid back, welcoming place. Very well priced too, bill for 4 with non alcoholic drinks was only $61.00!! Amazing really considering portions and quality! We will be going for meals here regularly now, sorry we didn't hear about it before !

The food at Mama's is incredible! The staff is fantastic and so are the owners. The portions are generous and everything is homemade.

The service is very good, the staff is friendly, the food portion are huge. You might want to share a meal, if you are not a big eater.

Best breakfast I've had in a long time! Seems like every other place serves you store bought cubed potatoes,pale flavorless eggs and paper thin bacon. I knew it was going to be different when they offered shredded potatoes, and I was right! Ordered the big breakfast, and it was fantastic! Don't know where they get their eggs but they were nice bright orange yolks eggs with great flavor, a welcome change. Wish I could eat breakfast here all the time.
