Agriturismo Torre Pernice - ALBENGA

We came here on a Sunday to drink an aperitif. I don't drink alcohol. They prepared me one with no alcohol with forest fruits cranberries and Fresh lemon!

We passed by this vineyard on way to visit friends and decided to stop for Sunday lunch. Such a beautiful setting with snow covered mountains to north and a glimpse of the Med. to the south. But what really impressed us was the lovely medieval tower in which we ate. What an atmosphere inside. So different from anywhere else we visited on our trip. And the food lived up to the surroundings too. We ate delicious home made pasta with a meat sauce that was so rich and sublime. They told us it was wild boar, never had that before! The charming young chef came and advised us about the food and wine which of course was produced on their vineyard. It was a really unexpected and interesting experience.

What a beautiful location. The view is amazing, mountains on one side and a view of the ocean on the other. The restaurant served the most fabulous food. Everything was homemade, and the wine was fantastic. After dinner the staff showed us the tower where guests can eat and look over the beautiful scenery. The staff was so friendly and helpful. This quaint vineyard is a must to destination.

The beautiful location, in August I made an apericena, I highly recommend it to everyone to go. I'll be right back.
