Applebee's - Albemarle

I give this Applebee site a 4 out of 5 stars because the service was top notch. The food was better than I remembered at other Applebees visits. The food was very fast and the staff checked me constantly, even while the restaurant was in the middle of a meal break. I think the staff deserves an award. I took a star because the beer selection is missing.

I ordered bourbon steak n shrimp with fries. My son bourbon chicken n shrimp..appetizer was the onion rings. Everything was delicious to the t. The waitress Caley was fantastic. This was my 2nd time being there in 24 yrs. My son's 1st. time. The hostess the waitress n all everything was fantastic. Really enjoyed it. We will be back

Tracy provided excellent service, and the food was outstanding. Everything was truly amazing!

I ordered the Bourbon Street Steak with garlic potatoes, and my husband had the grilled chicken breast, also with garlic potatoes. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The two house salads were quite good as well. Our waitress, Hannah R., was helpful and welcoming. It’s a great place for lunch!

On the downside, the decor isn't very eye-catching; aside from the TVs scattered around the room, there wasn’t much else to look at. Additionally, no one was wearing masks, and as for social distancing, the restaurant was about 30% full, yet groups were seated closely together. It would have been better if they had spaced out the groups more. However, thanks to the good, quick food and our wonderful server, I would rate this experience around a 4.4.
