El Grano De Oro - Albatera

We were 4 and opted for 'el menu de siempre '. Everything was top notch, especially the presentation and the quality of the meat! The drawback was that you could not opt for the 'pescado del dia ' and no alternative was proposed, although you will find fish dishes on the menu card ?!

Looking for somewhere different for a birthday lunch we looked at trip advisor for a restaurant near our Spanish house. All the reviews were in Spanish but I was able to gather they were very positive especially about their rice dishes, so we gave it a try. Lunch turned out to be a set meal with a couple of dishes arriving before we ordered anything. We were then asked what type of rice we wanted and we ordered a seafood paella. Starters continued to come and although I might have had something else were I ordering from a menu they were all tasty and all the plates went back empty. A delicious salad preceded the rice which was excellent a large pan with a thin layer of rice and tasty morsels of seafood which again went back clean. Dessert was a large plate of fruit and another with two different puddings all in the centre of the table. In all a great lunch and I will definitely be going there again. It is not in the most attractive setting being on an industrial estate, but in my view worth a visit

Hoy he estado comiendo con mi familia una paella, deliciosa! Paellas hechas con sarmiento con un sabor increíble. El sitio es muy original e invita a volver. Recomendable 100%. Los jardines espectaculares

Parada en nuestra ruta hacia el sur. El sitio es accesible desde la autovía, en un polígono. Ligar de celebraciones y para trabajadores (3 comedores separados). El ambiente no era muy acogedor, puesto que ves la ternera vieja curando mientras comes o la música excesivamente elevada tanto dentro como en la terraza. La comida buena. Pan con allioli/sobrasada/aceite (puesto directamente y cobrado), ensalada de la casa, arroz del senyoret para dos (rico) y dos cafés 51€

No es la primera vez que como en este restaurante y siempre ha sido un 10, tanto la cantidad y calidad de la comida, como la atención y el servicio. ¡Volveremos sin duda!
