Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers - Albany

Talk about convenient! My older daughter and I arrived in Albany last night and called in our order and thought we had to pick her up outside. To our joy we were told that we have to go in now to pick it up. Talk about thorough and polite! The young lady showed us every article and asked for our approval. Then she sacked her up and gave us a take home menu. Talk about delicious and delicious! Your gluten-free building your own pizza was best I had anywhere. I think the added garlic did the trick. I also had the plentiful build-your-own salad, selection of artichokes hearts, avocado, mushroom and pineapple; I forgot to add to Tofu. Gluten-free crust only comes in small, so I don't exhale; vegan cheese available.

It's a shame, but the TOFU SUB in Mellow Mushroom is sometimes good, and then sometimes NOT so good. When I had this sub last year, it was great! Then, a few months ago I had it and it was delicious! But then I took a chance and ordered it once more and it was great! So? It must depend on who the cook is you are.

VERY Good pizza. Great service and parking. Guinness on tap is a plus! Great line-up of beers on tap plus local favorites from Ga breweries.

Food was mediocre at best, automatic gratuity for a group of 4 look at second receipt carefully, not the one they give you with the food breakdown . Not for me but others may disagree.
