Hunter's -b-q - Albany

The pulled pig was amazing! The boiled cabbage and the potatoes were also great until I found paprika there! (I'm allergic) I had no idea they were stuck in peppers in cabbage! Would definitely come back!

Found this place on our way to dale hallow lake from Indiana and had a great experience. Great food and neat things to see. Thanks!

Good brisket! Tender juicy brisket is only available Friday though so on Saturdays Joes Pumpkin Barn BBQ or Rub'N Butts BBQ sell me tender juicy brisket. Too bad Hunters is closer. The vinegar coleslaw was something I've never tried before and is an interesting flavor. The creamy coleslaw I liked a little better but I think the vinegar coleslaw might grow on me over time. I always had creamy coleslaw but that vinegar bite is real good. I mixed a little with the brisket and it reminded me of the eastern North Carolina vinegar bbq flavor. The mild bbq sauce at hunters is great! I'll be back on a Friday maybe but I'm usually hungry for bbq on Saturday too bad.

First time eating at Hunters bbq was an awesome cute little place. BBQ sauce was awesome girl confused me and said mild or hot idk what she was talking about asked for bbq sauce just gave me mild bbq and i?m a hot kinda guy. Swamp Cabbage was good. Cowboy beans were different i liked them but was no bbq beans. Maybe i didn?t read if there were any. Awesome place to eat would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Pretty good, but not great BBQ. I enjoyed the pulled pork plate with one side of vinegar and baked beans. The pig was good, but not great. The claw was really good like the beans. I spent $12 for lunch, not too bad for the amount of food you receive. I really enjoy the ambience of the place, so many decorations on the wall!
