Beau Rivage - ALASSIO

Our dinners were imaginative, fresh, and thoroughly delicious. Plus the chef used mostly local products. We LOVED our 2 dinners there.

An absolutely throw back to the glory days. Family hotel with the biggest heart! Very friendly staff, wonderful food in the romantic restaurant, room with a wiew, 30 sek from the sea. Top of the tops! Clean rooms with all you need. We just loved this place!!

Alassio has a mass of restaurants along the length of its fine beach. Most of them offer more or less standard fare for this part of the world antipasti, Ligurian style pasta, grilled fish and so on but they're quite pricey for the quality they offer. Not all of them even overlook the beach, which is often obscured by the backs of beach huts. But walk down to the western end of town, where the promenade is shaded by umbrella pines and the beaches slightly more tranquil, and you'll find much better value at the Beau Rivage restaurant, with its pretty garden terrace. It's part of the Beau Rivage Hotel, but passers by can walk in off the street. They offer the same sorts of dishes, for a similar price, as the more touristy restaurants, but prepared to a noticeably higher standard. The set menu changes each day, featuring a rotation of dishes from the a la carte; and the antipasto buffet is perfect for those wanting just a light meal. Local wines are good, and fairly priced. Service is cheerful and efficient.

Excellent dinner fresh fish cutters to the curls, dumplings with the mullets, appetizer of sea steam delicious. punctual and precise service to recommend. excellent also the location that say we will go back soon.

Very good restaurant, delicious dishes and very kind staff. Obviously fish dishes are the strongest and it is a very romantic place in the evening.
