Ha-la Sushi - Alamo

The freshest fish... my favorite local sushi spot! They offer fantastic specials, and the staff is wonderful.

Vegetarian options? Absolutely! There are so many that it's hard to recommend just a few because the selection is extensive and excellent. As for dietary restrictions, keep in mind that it's sushi and similar dishes, so there’s no dairy. Parking is convenient, with plenty of spaces right by the entrance. And if you have lively kids, there's no need to worry—there's outdoor seating available! The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible, with direct access from the parking lot to the front door.

My mom and I used to have lunch at Ha-La Sushi almost every week on Thursday for quite a long time and it was always one of the highlights of the week. Everyone that works there was always so incredibly nice and patient with mom, who was in the early stages of dementia at the time. They were always happy to see us and, of course, we were always happy to see them. The cuisine is wonderful at Ha-La. It's very tasty and made with love, and it will always be my favorite place to go for lunch in Alamo, but the real magic at Ha-La Sushi is the very sweet people that work there.

Absolutely the worst sushi I've ever had! We ordered takeout, and the raw fish looked questionable. The tuna had a lot of veins, and the bloodline was still on my red snapper. The sushi rice was really stale, and our soft shell crab tasted like it had come straight out of the freezer. We even made sure to arrive on time to ensure the crab would at least be warm. I definitely won't be returning here.
