Sushi Go Go - Alameda

Everytime I order I ask for extra soy sauce and wasabi bcz every time they send me barely enough for one roll. YET! They sent me 3 pairs of chopsticks, as if there ppl were eating, that is how much sushi was orderd, enuf for 3 ppl, three pair of chopstick but only three packets of soy sauce and nickel size serving of wasabi. For $60 worth of sushi. This was my LAST order. No point.

I'm writing this in case you're considering ordering from this restaurant. Maybe you should think twice. I usually avoid giving 2-star reviews unless it's for something ridiculously overpriced, like unnecessary dental work. We had an odd day in Alameda. The beach was just okay, and a bird happened to poop on my friend. We stopped for dim sum at East Ocean, which was fine, but then we tried this sushi. We ordered it when we got home, and coincidentally, it was delivered from Alameda. Unfortunately, the sushi experience was worse than the bird incident. Instead of our eel roll, we received a cucumber roll, and it took us a while to notice the mistake. The Alaska Roll, Orange Blossom Roll, AC Roll—everything just tasted bland and identical. There was an overwhelming amount of white rice with very little flavor inside. Could this be a chain restaurant? Or perhaps it's just bad luck during Mercury in Retrograde? Either way, I won’t be trying it again.

The rice was undercooked and had a hard center. All of the rolls were unpalatable.

This place is one of my favorite places to get alot of sushi.combo deals are unbeatable.

At appearance, the sushi looks good. The quality of the rice was not there. No taste of rice vinegar and the texture of the rice was hard. Might have a better chance at eating the sashimi though. Other than that the presentation is great with a bag and a box. Thanks!
