There is a lack of charm at Pete's and Dieucks Coffee Shop, especially when you see the owner sitting down. However, you can taste the dedication to the business in every sip of their mocha. The customer service goes above and beyond, making you feel welcome and wanted. It is easy to see why so many people enjoy their meals and laughter at the tables. This coffee shop exudes character and charm. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays, but on the other five days of the week, make sure to visit and meet the wonderful owners and staff. As a coffee lover who struggles to find the perfect espresso drink, I was pleasantly surprised with their perfectly roasted beans and expertly brewed espresso. The drink was velvety smooth, with no need for corrections or additions. This coffee shop is truly a hidden gem in Alameda.
