Nolu's Downtown - Al `Ayn

Nolu's is one of my favourite places now. Great quality for a reasonable price. At Galleria mall they have wonderful weekday lunch offer 67drh for an open buffet. There are good and multiple vegetarian options. Nolu's barley soup is amazing. Pizza is one of the best. Love their dumplings as well. My favourite dessert is Green Macha cake and Goji berry truffles in their cafe. Coffee is also among the best! Very much recommended.

Ystrday we went to this place in Galleria Mall, AbuDhabi. Attractive ambience! Very authentic Afghan cuisine but with manyyy Western italian food options as well in one place! We ordered shareable. Everything was delicious, from dumplings, Bolani to saffron rice to Qabili pilao, chapli kabob to fresh juices last but not least Red velvet cake! Highly recommend this!

Great Ambiance Excellent Service Fantastic food. Highly Recommended. For all its complexities, tastes, and influences, Afghani is probably one of the most under appreciated cuisines globally. Most people start and end with their kababs (which are excellent, no doubt) not discovering the further nuances of this food tradition. Mantu is one of those undiscovered treasures. Different versions of manti (meat filled dumplings, served in a yogurt sauce) are eaten across a large geographic area from Turkey to Western China. The Afghan version called Mantu is unique because of the dumpling size, the more spicy meat filling, the dried min topping, and the addition of lentils on top of the yogurt. The end result is indescribably awesome. And Nolu’s prepares and serves it excellently. Highly recommended. PS: The place is hard to find. They are spending a lot of money advertising in Galleria Mall but the directions from the mall are appalling. I saw at least 10 people search for the restaurant and give up after 10 mins of searching. I told the waiter (so they can improve directions); he just told me that ‘now that you know where it is, you will find it easier the next time’.

Nice place with sea view, the food and service was great
