Applebee's - Akron

You can never go wrong with Applebees ribs. Definitely time for a new menu tho. Eating was on point Dracula blood is a drink to die. Even though they are usually underused, they do a great job. Thank you for the presentation of employees

Late snack after ballgame (10:30). Had chicken quesadillas. Friend had boneless wings and wonton tacos. All three very good. Restaurant was clean. Service was slow....due to few waitresses trying to cover entire restaurant. Our waitress, once we were seated, was friendly and order taken and food to table fairly quickly. Seems same issue that I encounter quite often these days....unable to hire add'l people for shifts.

I felt bad because they only had one waitress. She was really nice an very calm. We did wait a while on the food. Not sure if they were short in the kitchen as well. I assume it was the manager helping too. They really did their best. I just felt bad for them working short-handed.

Wow! Service 1 star) How it started: Since the time we got seated to the time someone came to take our order was no lie 45 minutes. The bartender was our waitress and she said that she did not see us smh. A guy at the bar had to tell her that we were here at a table waiting to be served. 1 star) We got a drink that was the a special they had for Halloween. It was not that great. We ordered the bourbon shrimp and chicken with garlic mash potatoes. This was actually very good. The chicken was very moist and tender. Also the lemons were old and slimy

Good food but super slow service. Our waitress was very kind, but there was maybe 3 other people in the entire restaurant and it still took us almost an hour to get our food. We ordered a lava cake and they forgot about it, but we didn’t have time to wait for it to come out so we had to leave. I’m not sure if there wasn’t enough staff in the kitchen or what was going on but hopefully it’s not always the way it was tonight
