Malinee's Thai House - Ajax

Malinee's is a fantastic new spot in Ajax! Although I didn't try it in Oshawa, I can see why people make the trip to Ajax for this delicious food. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken, Tom Yum Shrimp Soup, and Spring Rolls. Everything was flavorful and expertly prepared. I was particularly impressed by the taste of the Pad Thai. The ginger sauce for the rice deserves a special mention— it was excellent! I will certainly be back to try more items from the menu.

This is the best Thai restaurant I've been to in the Durham region. The food is authentic and brings back memories of the dishes I had in Thailand. The prices are reasonable, and there are plenty of parking spaces right in front of the restaurant. The owner is incredibly sweet and friendly; she deserves more than five stars for her outstanding customer service. I’ve included pictures of our meals from today. They also offer Halal options.

We spent $75 and received an abundance of food—two noodle dishes and three curries, which could easily feed eight people. So, I’d say the prices are quite reasonable. The food tastes fantastic and seems healthy, leaving you feeling satisfied rather than uncomfortable. I really love this place! The atmosphere is charming; it’s very cozy and intimate, which can feel a bit cramped due to the current capacity restrictions. Still, it maintains a comfortable vibe. The decor adds to the authentic experience as well. I highly recommend it!

We had taken out tonight (New Year's) and it was great! Definitely on the mark. Pad Thai was good, red curry was delicious, Pad Sew Wee was amazing. dumplings and spring rolls also delicious.

Really enjoyed this place. We ordered the pad see ew, the Green Thai Curry and the Spicy Basil Chicken. Everything was fantastic. The owner was very friendly too. Overall, a great place and will surely be back.
