Safari Bar & Grill- Ajax

I really want this local restaurant to succeed. However, the restaurant was very empty with only 2 other tables occupied, and the decor is outdated with menus from 2005 that have faded. The food was good, but it seems like this place needs more customers before they can justify updating their venue. On the bright side, the food was good and the fries were amazing. Perhaps they should consider promoting their delicious fries. Just a thought.

The food was okay, but the service was the worst I have ever experienced. We ordered drinks that never arrived, and the server was not attentive at all. We were there to celebrate a birthday, but I wanted to leave because of the poor service. I will not be giving them my business again.

I made a reservation on Open Table and arrived to say that they closed for a private function. I asked for an explanation why I could make a reservation and the answer was too bad. This disregard for my client is enough to never go again and my guests live in the area. Such a contempt of a customer is sad and leads to such posts. The situation could and should have been treated more professionally.

Service was terrible furniture rusted mismatching chairs sitting outside the terrace in the dark then had to ask to put on light Orders grounded only brought 1 dinner waiting 1/2 hour for drinking to table dessert stale and dry never again!!!!

Very friendly staff but service took a little longer than expected.
