Nice wee place with plenty of tasty choices. Not bad prices, not very cheap, but not overly expensive. Food quality and freshness was top.
My daughter and myself went in for a tea and patisserie. We both speak French and my daughter is bilingual. I ordered a tea, thinking it would be served in a pot and asked for 2 cups so we could share. They whispered amongst themselves and then said, 2 portions. So I checked whether this was going to cost double which it was. I then asked for a little bit of milk which cost me 30 centimes. Overall, they made us feel unwelcome and treated me as if I was stupid. I notice that other reviewers have said the same. Not the way to run a business.
We had lunch for a family of five. Each of us had a plat du jour with a piece of pizza, an iced tea and a mini eclair for the kids and a croque monsieur, salad and donut with Perrier for me and an omelette with salad, a piece of flan and Perrier and a coffee for my wife. The main course food was fine, was 50 euros all up. Nothing exceptional but fine. The desserts however were really good five stars for each of these, sugary goodness! The eclairs and the custard donut in particular were highlights.
Walked buy and walked int he n ext morning for breakfast. Ha d a nice selection of bread, croissants expert no almond) and fancier pastry. Evidently have a big lunch business. Service was cordial and the prices were reasonable. We would go back
