Salon Georgia - Aiud

This is a great place for every moment. I was there for a wedding and I was happy with all this. The place looks really nice, the service was excellent and food too. That's all you need!

Cosy atmosphere, freshly cooked meals. A pleasure to come back here. The style is elegant and minimalist.

The cafeteria is very nice, service also, and the cakes very tasteful. Very good choice. It is also very well located, easily accessible.

I looked for this restaurant hearding about some spectacular specific pies cooked on hot stones. The town Aiud is small, but very interested located on the road between Sibiu and Cluj in Transylvania. This small city offers for a short break : a big medieval fortress , few wine cellars, a very interesting factory with exhibition for hand carved wooden furniture (wooden art) and the very tasty meal at Salon Georgia. The building has a poor apperance without suspecting what may find inside. But in fact, it is catering factory there, hardly working for such services and aditionally assuring restaurant services . Out of the usual recipes but very tasty cooked, the traveller finds there special pies cooked on hot stones filled with cheese, bacon, mushrooms, cabbage, and many other specialities like cakes preparared in own laboratory, The restaurant is very clean, the staff polite and it is the best location to be chosen for lunch on this road map between Sibiu and Cluj

It is not the best place in town, but you can eat a lot of different food. You also do catering and this is good of you have an event in a place you can order and they bring the food to your place. prices are not high, the taste is good.
