Cafe du Baillage - Aire-sur-la-Lys

Having visited the cafe several years ago we planned our motorcycle club trip route to Albert via Aire on purpose. Once again they looked after our group vey well - excellent omelettes and other dishes all went down well.

This café on the main square serves excellent coffee and also offers a range of simple but very tasty meals. A variety of salads offsets a number of standard café snacks which are all freshly prepared and generously presented and at a reasonable price. Obviously popular with the locals ( the same people were there on the three occasions we visited), this venue was the most inviting around- even the dog was welcoming! To be recommended if you are passing through or just visiting this fascinating town.
