Suzanna's - Airdrie

Suzanna's is my go-to breakfast spot in Airdrie. Not only is it great value for money, but everything is made fresh with quality ingredients and care. My wife raves about the delicious Hollandaise sauce on her eggs Benedict and the coffee is also top-notch.

Today for lunch, there were only 4 other customers. We waited 45 minutes for soup and one lunch order. The chef (possibly the owner) ran their hands through their hair, without wearing a hair net or gloves. They also handled the money. When we went to pay, we noticed that their hands were dirty with food under their nails. The kitchen was extremely dirty and it didn't seem like the ventilation was working properly. The smell of grease was very strong.

This restaurant is a delightful surprise, with a warm and friendly staff. The food is outstanding, and feels like a delicious homemade meal. I highly recommend supporting this local business, you won't be let down. It's my favorite place in Airdrie to unwind and enjoy a meal.
