Chicken on the Way - Airdrie

I have never had better fried chicken than the one at this restaurant. Since moving away, I have been searching for a comparable alternative, but no one has come close.

They closed 10 minutes early on me as I pulled up. The girl in the photo ran to the door and locked it on me. Closing 10 minutes early is unacceptable.

Craving a decent piece of chicken at a fair price? I stopped by here and ordered a three-piece chicken meal with fries and gravy, along with some corn on the side.

For $7 I enjoyed a small box stuffed to the rim with delicious French fries/awesome chicken and corn fritter. Best fast food value

Last visit in Airdrie, it closed before I could make it there. Managed to make it this time with time to spare. I chose this place as I had a chicken craving, and have never tried it before. Everything is deep-fried, to start off, so don't expect a non-greasy food box, etc. Had the chicken tenders, fries, corn-fritters. Tenders were good, chicken was nicely cooked but very plain. Fries were greasy though, and some were pretty soggy. Corn fritters, were... well, corn fritters, but somewhat blah and tasteless. I'd probably come back to try again, but realistically it wouldn't be on the top of my list.
