Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers

Jason Willis and I usually don't discuss service because we understand that everyone can have an off day, especially since we both work in customer service. However, we couldn’t help but rave about the young man who took our order—he made us smile and laugh the entire time! At first, we misread his expression as a sign that our experience might not be great, but he definitely proved us wrong. While we waited for our food, he cheerfully held a large bucket and took our order at the same time. When another customer walked in, he greeted her warmly and made his way to take her order with genuine enthusiasm. Unfortunately, he faced a bit of rudeness from an employee—likely a manager given her red shirt—who yelled at him, questioning whether Calvin's priorities were more important than those of the customers. Having worked in fast food before, I understand the pace can be intense, but there’s no excuse for being disrespectful to colleagues who are doing their best and keeping a positive attitude! This young man is truly going places, and Jason and I are grateful to have met him tonight. He brought joy to every customer he served and clearly showed he cares about great customer service beyond just earning a paycheck. So, we want to give a huge shoutout to Calvin for his outstanding customer service! I even posted this review on my Facebook along with a picture.

I visited the drive-thru three months ago and, when I got home, I realized that my double cheeseburger was missing. I kept the receipt because I planned to return and claim a replacement later. Today, I went back and everyone was very apologetic and kind about the situation. I must say, the replacement burger was made with great care and tasted amazing! I really appreciate the exceptional service I received. Kudos to everyone involved!

I just picked up food from this Wendy's, and I have to say, the bun was so fresh that it was a bit wet and soggy. It was honestly the best burger I've had all month. While they may not be the quickest fast-food spot, their quality is superb. It's definitely better than the Wendy's near the old jail in Augusta. This location is fantastic—it's the only one I ever visit!
