When we came back from Machu picchu, we were all quite hungry, so we decided to eat something. everything looked the same: men stand out with the menus. but there were no other options, so we decided to just go next. best to go. we ordered our drinks and because my mom didn't feel so good, she ordered a coca cola they didn't have! I'm sorry, which restaurant did not serve coca cola? so my mother bought one in a load. the eating was meh. my mother, my sister and I have taken with the option sweet queensadillas, burritos and fajitas. it was the kind of sweet that they would put in their suppe in Belgium. and to finish, the best part comes here: we get the bill and for 38 sohlen that they have accused the local services". we ask what this is, and they say it's a tip." we say that we will not pay for it because it is nowhere written down that they must. so the waiter gets a menu and on the front is: optional service 10 . For the first time 38 were 22! and second after putting on the show of the display of the menu, we did not want to pay for this service ' which was certainly optional! Finally we paid for our food and are out there. I have only one advice: not go there!
First I think we picked up a small bug or food poisoning. as with many tourist restaurants, they have someone outside to come. my friends from the usa get 20% what has not happened. it was also a happy hour, we stuck with beer to be on the safe side, they were warm. our group ordered a quesadilla, burrito and chips and guac. They brought out a chickenerquesadilla instead of the steak I ordered, it took so long I didn't care, but what I thought would be only meat and cheese instead of chicken, paprika, wobbly covered in a tomato sauce that made it very wound and disappointing. guac has no taste and the service was not great between our actual server and promise the wrong ones made out. we ate next to the door inka wasi the day before, we wish we had returned there!
I don't like writing bad reviews but this place and its staff are useless We were brought in with free lemonade promise So we thought we would try it. Got our lemonade 25 minutes into our stay We ordered Alpaka Steak which came with cold...veggies and rice. I ordered a potato soup with veggies it was not bad. Finally we got our bill. Steak was billed 1 sole over menu price. My soup was billed 38 sole menu said 25 Lemonade was charged on the bill and not comped. For some reason tax was 30 soles as well. So I call the waitress over, what is going on? Please bring me the menu? I explain that she is ripping us off. She starts apologizing profusely. I rewrite my own bill as it should of been done. Leave the cash on the table NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!!!! Ps. Neighbouring table waits 35 minutes for drink Then see waitress come in with buns for his sandwich which arrives 10 minutes later Comp a few items. He still walks out Disgusted
Ok, I fell for the street enticement of a decent looking menu, so in I went. Got a table upstairs, so I had a decent view of the street. Entree came and it was quite good Palma Reina. Avocado, mayo, chicken, potato. A good...start. However my ordered pisco sour didn't arrive and now I was served a main course I never ordered. So it disappeared and we try again. Again I'm presented with perhaps someone else's meal....and still no pisco sour. So I wait. My ordered meal arrives and it's a bit of a mess my guess is they have stuffed things up completely and in 30 seconds put my ordered burritos together. Bland, uninspiring, limp all come to nibs when describing my mains. And still no pisco sour. With one bite of my tepid burrito left, our comes my drink. It's no good no fruit taste at all in it. Again a rushed job. I would not advise anyone to eat here.
