Pizze ottime con prodotti buonissimi. Si percepisce la ricerca dei gusti, ma in maniera molto semplice ed è questo che fa la differenza. Proprietari squisiti ed orgogliosi del proprio lavoro... Assolutamente da consigliare
We had the most incredible meal with Angelo and Giovanna at Lo Zampillo. Fresh seafood, delicious cheeses and the best pizza we tasted during our 2 weeks in Italy... actually, the best pizza I’ve ever had. They also have a delicious local dish called rosa marina, which you should try! Exquisite dinner with warm, welcoming hosts. Would highly recommend!
We had a lovely dinner at Lo Zampillo which was excellent from start to finish. We were given a warm welcome and a free aperitif while we perused the wide ranging menu. The menu was in Italian but the owner was more than happy to translate with his excellent English. We’re no experts in Italian food but it was all fresh, seemed authentic and tasted amazing. The portion sizes were very generous- neither of us could finish our meal! We had 2 x antipasto Italiano (very tasty and filling) with toasted bread on the side and a ball of buffalo mozzarella included 1 x pizza 1x pasta d’arrabbiata 1 x large beer 1 x large water For a total of 29 euros. All in all great value, great food and a warm welcome!
We arrived at 9 pm and our pasta was served at 10.30. The starter took over 30 mins to land on our table, even though it was just cold antipasti. There were only two other parties at the restaurant so there were no obvious reasons for this remarkably slow service. The food was OK, and the local wine just about drinkable. Even though the price was very modest, it was not good value.
