Marstal - Aeroe

Hotel Udsigten.... What a fantastic place... Surroundings It's really nice here in Marstal and the hotel has almost the original beach hotel atmosphere, in the perfect location less than a stone's throw from the water. The house is undergoing renovation, and therefore there is definitely a focus on preserving this cozy atmosphere. Rooms I would have given the room 4 stars as the condition is a bit slow, and there is no TV in the rooms, and there shouldn't be either, but maybe a newer radio, would have been nice, but the view over the water and if you open the window, you can hear waves lapping, is just something you can't get enough of so 5 great stars. Dinner We had some really good food to eat, delicious salmon as a starter and a fantastic piece of meat for the main course, and an eye catching strawberry soup for dessert, while Edward Weise played on the beach hotel's piano, was just fantastic. Breakfast This was perhaps a bit of a disappointment, because the only thing we think was homemade was a warm beer bread which tasted fantastic, but everything else was consumer goods. If you had just made a few homemade buns and rye bread the day before, it would have given a completely different atmosphere. Summary We can only recommend this wonderful hotel, and once the bathing bridge comes up, I also think that this will be one of the most beautiful bathing hotels we have visited, and good for the price. Have stayed at really many hotels in Denmark and this is one of the best. Great rooms, well equipped bathroom and cozy restaurant with lovely food. The view can be its name familiar, for about 20 metres from the water with the most beautiful view of Langeland and sunrise. High level of service. I would like to go back.

Absolutely not recommended, the hotel or the equipment is very old! reception is always empty, they must go to long search if they want to check in. the breakfast buffet was a bit in order, but they should not expect too much. the price was enormous high, I mean, we had paid 130€ a year ago. parking is possible directly opposite the public parking lot. the German standards are used, can not be happy in the hotel.

Nice clean rooms, but unfortunately very bad mattresses, at least in the room where I slept.

As always a very personal and friendly service. We keep very of the true mood, -s place where the marstals themselves come. Perfect room overlooking the harbour.The breakfast is not luxury, but with everything to be. Although sitting in the courtyard in the lovely summer weather. We look forward to the next year!
