Union Hotel - Adelaide

I had a lunch in the union for a job. the meal times were pre-ordered on request. it was clear that my meal (a chicken salad) and others were prepared and were ready to go for some time. my food appeared as soon as we arrived (over minutes before other people in our group meals). the salate was not fresh. the meal consisted of what looked like not much more than a package mix super market salat, with just a few small granular pieces of cold huh buried down. the meal was soggy and the salat dress was sick. average pub fare and over price for what was served on a dish. the table service was bad.

Excellent food and cooked to perfection (the steak, that is) large pub centrally located to stay hotel where I was. would be recommending

Was already a few times in the union for meals and I was not disappointed yet. service was always good and eating waiting times were fast best and acceptable in the worst case. lately the wagyu beef and mushroom burger had from the special menu. I must say I was impressed. chips were hot, crispy and perfectly seasoned. burger pattie was boiled to medium, that is exactly right. bacon added a beautiful smokiness. the aromen have worked well. no mistakes. I'm back as long as they keep serving good food.

Dinner at the warm fireplace on a rainy Thursday evening. there is nothing better! now, except delicious Atlantic salmon on a rainy Thursday evening. though a little loud, this place was super cozy. the lachs, a tad overboiled, but delicious all the same, was served with a flower flower cream, broccolini and a potato-leek-rosti. balanced aromen and served beautifully.

Had lunch with friends today. Great setting outside at the back. Very disappointed with the Thai beef salad. Will not be coming back. Other friends had your average fried pub food done well, the Tommy Ruffs were great. We did a count of my salad, or green beans cut in slices of average precooked beef, skinny slices of red capsicum, cap would be used for salads, bulk vermicelli noodles soft and fried, and watery dressing, I’m being generous calling it dressing. No hint of fish sauce, chilli or anything, I suspect they chucked the noodles and forgot to dressage thing. I returned the bowl to the counter and explained the problem.
