The interior has an industrial, Bauhaus look that reminds me of Nordburger: clean, simple, and unpretentious. The battered blue grenadier fish and chips are excellent, with a crispy batter and juicy, succulent fish. The chips are crispy, tasty, and seasoned with nori for a unique flavor. The dish also comes with a delicious soba noodle salad dressed in a miso peanut butter dressing, which adds a refreshing twist. The homemade tartare sauce is also delicious, with a strong flavor of shallot and caper that pairs well with the fish. While the batter can become a bit soggy over time, the overall experience is excellent with a slight modern Asian twist. I highly recommend it.
The lobster rolls we ordered were quite good but could use a bit more flavor. The chips and Japanese noodles that came with them were a pleasant addition.
I ordered the grilled hoki and chips, and it came with a side salad combo of rocket, spinach, and seaweed. The service was quick for ordering and paying in advance, but during peak lunch hours, the waiting time for the meal could be around 15 minutes. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options.
