Good service with amazing korean house cooked meal at a very reasonable price for the amount of food they receive. have been here several times and the quality of the food was always very high
I ordered the stirring rice cake and japchae here to take away, and really enjoyed it. the place itself is a little hard to find as it is hidden in a side street, and parking could be an inconvenience. this is a very causal little restaurant, and the owner was very nice and there to welcome us as soon as we opened the door! when I came, the restaurant was not busy, so I would say it would be easy to get a table here safe! with regard to eating, the fried rice cake was very full, and since both were dishes for me, I did not need the second plate. the rice cake was very soft, but still chewing/bouncy, and the spicy sauce was on the milder side, so if they don't...read more
This little spot is hidden by pirie road in the city, so would be overlooked and missed if they don't know about it. it is really nice Korean cuisine without the nerve tickles, service is a little slow, as it is minimal staff, but that is worth waiting.
Stopped by at this place for lunch. It wasn't busy during the day but it took while till the food served on our table. The first came was royal court stir as entree. The portion was small. On the menu is written stir fried rice cake with beef, mushroom and assorted vegetables in a soy sauce. But I didn't see mushroom or vegetables. I am quite familiar with this food, known as Topokki and based on my culinary experience it supposed to be spicy but at seoul resto they made it sweet, too sweet for me..actually the rice cake was nice but unfortunately it's just too sweet and the portion was small.
