However, it offers a really nice cozy, relaxed environment that we were looking for in our lunch break. we ordered the pumpkin soup, fairies and macular and the burger. the suppe was quite average and disappointing for me was the accompanying brot burned. burger was fantastic. chips were slightly underdonated, but for them made by handcut. to be honest, it's not a court I usually command because I don't understand it as a court to eat in a restaurant. young I was glad that my partner spoke to me...read more
As soon as they are in the door too foot, the comfortable traditional Irish pub with the dark wood aprons, high solid wood tables and stools in the dimming lighting feels. there are remote corners with comfortable standing like sitting, which are ideal if they have a group of friends who do not want to be disturbed by all others. the bar is easily accessible to an Irish pub with typical alcohol selections. nothing too special or fantasies on the drinks menu. the service was fast and friendly at any opportunity that I was to the venue. quite a busy place on Thursday nights and quietly relatiw most others nights. the entertainment varies from live acoustics to the local pub...read more
I was eating here on Sunday. I was for Sunday roast. I was a bit skeptical, as roasting can be a bit dry, but it was nice and a very generous part. the chips were also very tasteful. the menu had a good selection of typical pub food and the two employees were really nice.
Came here with a group of friends to enjoy a typical Irish pub atmosphere and have some Irish dishes. I had the bark guinness pie delicate meat, thick gravy with a beautifully cooked baked pan. I was not a fan of the excessively puffy baked lid, because so much air between the layers of the baked destroyed the texture and the taste. the rest of the torte was great. it put me back so I expected something bigger. I ate everything on my teller and was still a little hungry and that rarely happens (if at all) when I go for a meal. the kartoffel was a bit lumpy, but the carrots were sweet and caramelized. Overall, it is a welcoming place with cheap drinks, friendly staff and honest...read more
Burnt Guiness pie and stringy Irish stew. The title says it all, Guiness pie was covered in gravy to disguise the fact it was burnt, when I sent it back, I was told they don't have any more. Irish stew meat was large chunks of stringy lamb, in their defence they offered me another meal, and gave me a refund. The chicken schitzel came and the chips were burnt and cold. Chef must have been having a bad night, but doesn't excuse mediocre food. Especially as we have dined there before and enjoyed our meal. New chef/cook? Could be.
