The entree serve of smoked guacamole was smaller than anticipated but tasty. The grilled chicken in my sister's entree taco was cold but still delish. I recommend the soft shell crab taco entree. My husband enjoyed his salmon (was it meant to be cold?) tostada entree. We all had beef enchiladas for main which were served with no accompaniments. You might need a spoon as its quite saucy and flavoursome with very tender beef. I was disappointed that there was no rice with it. I had the special chocolate mousse for dessert and sis had the icecream sandwich which were ok. The wait staff were very attentive but not intrusive.
What a great vibe this place has...especially being a Friday night it was very busy. Decor and the music@ playing was very cool and the food was great too. Excellent service from our waitress and she was more than helpful when we asked which dishes she recommended. Overall it was a great experience and something different from the norm.
The restaurant has a funky cool Melbourne vibe to it, which I liked - even the random Dj tucked away in the corner. the floor staff were friendly and our first waiter was pleasant and attentive enough though I did take issue with her seemingly directing most of her correspondence w/my partner (eye contact, explanations/recommendations of dishes etc) and that bugged me slightly. Later on, another waiter, a blonde woman, checked in on us knowing we were waiting on food that had not arrived and made sure to see what was the hold up. We did request that the nachos come out first which never happened, instead all our meals came out together making our small narrow table for two overcrowded and awkward to eat. I started off ordering a drink - "Agua Fresca" - which consisted of mango, pineapple, watermelon and I choose the option to add tequila. To me, I couldn't taste the tequila. I wasn't sure it had been added to my drink to begin with but the woman... read more

I wasn't sure it had been added to my drink to begin with but the woman looking after my partner and I, promptly took my drink away and replaced it with another. I could taste the tequila now. Whilst I finished the drink, I didn't care for it. It tasted like pineapple juice and nothing more. As for the food... Simply put the duck nachos were surpreme! I wanted to order another bowl. And the soft shell crab soft taco was equally great. I had other dishes which were standard fare, nothing to write home about but I wasn't complaining. In all honestly, the abovementioned duck and soft shell crab dishes were so good that next time I'm in Adelaide I plan a return visit just to order them again.
Great spot! I had a soft shell taco to start, and we shared beef and prawn enchiladas for main, with a side of sweet potato chips. All were delicious. The sweet potato chips are a must order! Service was very fast and friendly. Will definitely be returning.
