Lamb Spit BBQ - Adelaide

This place does a great cooked breakfast special for only $11 with a coffee or tea. Toast, bacon, sausage, 2 fried eggs and tomatoes. Fantastic value compared to other cafes in the market. People probably assume they only do Greek style lamb bbq so it's easy to get a table unlike the other cafes in the market. Located at the far western end of the market near the Asian supermarket.

If you want the best lamb yiros in Adelaide then look no further.I love yiros and many years ago I used to eat a lot of them but over the years I have found most of the ones I eat taste nothing like they used to taste.The yiros from Lamb Spit BBQ tastes as good as I have ever had.It was a lovely night wandering around the great Adelaide Central Market and having a beautiful yiros.The service was great with a friendly smile and a bit of a chat.Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves yiros.Will be back (maybe next Friday)!

A great breakfast of sausage, hash brown, bacon and eggs with tomatoes and mushrooms, served with a smile, friendly banter and the best buttered toast you could hope for. Just right for preparing for a day at one of the best markets in the country.

We love the lamb yiros here after a busy trip around the Central Market. Great people and excellent options. Service is quick. The tables are more "take away" than "cafe" but the food makes up for it.
