Hello Sarnie - Adelaide

Tried their Chicken Soba salad today. Fresh and simple ingredients, but executed well and very tasty. The portion didn't look that big, but it was deceptively filling. A great place to get a healthy lunch! Will be back to sample their other salads on offer.

How lucky am I that I work nearby and they are back from holidays this week. Hello Sarnie is relatively new and becoming increasingly popular it seems. Freshly made sandwiches and salads with the chicken and avocado a personal fave. Coffee is from Coffee Barun and fab juices from around the Hills You can eat in or outside or take it back to the office like I do. Service is always friendly and welcoming. I go at least 3 days a week now.

There is a lovely feel (and smell) as you walk into Hello Sarnie. I was impressed with the offerings in the display cabinets - they all looked inviting. I opted to go with a salad today - it was the perfect lunch size and had lots of yummy things in it. I like that the salad dressing is on the side so you can add as much or as little as you like. Again, weird for me to say, but the sandwiches looked amazing. And big. Supersize bread? They also had lots of delicious looking fillings. Reasonable pricing too. If you just need a snack they had pots with vegie sticks and dips.

Opening day!! I'm so on top of the foodie scene now #sohip that I can taste new fads before they even happen (chocolate lobster is coming, people!). This place makes it super easy to grab some great food, some fruit & healthy drinks (carton water anyone?) at lunchtime.  Pre packaged, but freshly made by the kitchen with really quality ingredients, Hello Sarnie has got the flavour down & I had the Chicken Caesar Salad box ( $8.50) - the most unhealthy thing I could muster in an otherwise healthy shop. The sauce was packaged separately so nothing got soggy & it was some QUALITY sauce!  Super tasty & thick - definitely not a bottled dressing.  Chicken was sliced (I love chicken as chunks), and the parmesan really cut through the creamyness of the sauce nicely.  I felt so satisfied after with the serving size as well. I would go back!

I had the Egg Sandwich and Hummus Dip Pot. Both were fresh and tasty. It would be great if there were a few extra veggie sticks with the dip though, as I had quite a bit of hummus left over. Definitely a good option for a quick lunch.
