Grass Chicken - Adelaide

Unsure of what to expect from this fusion of Asian and western "fast" food place, we gave Grass Chicken a go nonetheless. Interior was simple and clean

Who would want KFC when you have Grass Chicken just minutes away? Grass Chicken is a tasty, tantalizing takeout place on Hindley Street.

Grass Chicken is an odd little gem on Hindley Street.

We lunched at the Grass Chicken, and both chose the Chicken Schnitzel. The coating was crispy and delicious, but we are used to a fillet of chicken in a schnitzel, and it was a little disconcerting to find part of the chicken carcass crumbed as well. I suppose this is the Asian way of cooking a schnitzel. The smoothies were delicious on a hot day.TV is loud and distracting.

This is a hidden gem in Adelaide CBD. The chicken rice burger has crispy chicken and amazing rice patty. Overall, it's cheap eat with Asian flavour. Highly recommended!
