I love what she said because I'm honestly tired of this amazing soup/smoothie bowl on instagram where everything is so amazing and full of bull**. This place is honest and their food is good. The only thing that I don't like is that they heat everything in the microwave so the food becomes soft :/ but if you want a quick service this is the price to pay, right?Good job guys!
A work colleague took us here for a quick lunch and so I bravely entered the world of vegan, gluten free, egg free, raw and paleo eating. I am sure that they would have whipped me up a tabbouleh salad if I had asked, but I boldy went ahead and selected a pre-prepared salad bowl with butter beans, spelt, and other healthy unidentifiable looking greens and things. It tasted fine, but I would have preferred a few more pieces of tomato and such to add contrast to what tasted like just beans and greens.Others had tasty looking curry puffs and salads. The fellow who eats here quite regularly asked for an Acai bowl and it looked very appealing. He informed us that it contained some of the healthiest ingredients that you can include in your diet; all I could recognise was the blueberries. The small 'cafe' at the back of the store only seats about eight people but if the weather is good there are some outdoor eating spots, courtesy of the city council. On the way out I spotted some vegan nail varnish, which would seem to support their claim of being serious suppliers of vegan and other health products. I would return for another meal just out of curiousity to see what else they offer.
I had headed to another restaurant for lunch, billed as one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Adelaide, and been disappointed in the offering, which included a lot of deep-fried food. Wandering along Gawler I happened across for Foods for Life and was there for at least two hours looking at everything for sale (what an amazing selection - bought great organic moisturiser with SPF) and having lunch: vegan burger and mushroom salad with lots of parsley and quinoa, plus good coffee. Will definitely visit again when in Adelaide.
This place has a great range in health products! They seem to stock a lot of products that many other stores never have! The staff here are always so helpful and friendly! Also their falafel wrap is amazing!!
I've come in here a few times and every time what I have ordered has been so fresh .I don't know who makes all the food but they need to be complimented . I've eaten there cakes ( gluten free ) and you wouldn't even notice ... so delicious ...!!!! Staff have also been friendly !
