I had the iron benedikt. the pickled eggs were overboiled until the point of complete inset. winged eggs should always be casual, but set. came with a miserable little piece. from toast, brown roggen bread, if the menu says it comes with sourdough. would prefer the sourdough after menus. brown roggen too hard for egg. the service was very friendly, but it took too long to get meals, and even considering it was close to empty on this day.
Long overdue catching up with former teammates for lunch and needed a place and space to match all three of us. have gone past do duck inn for years and have always thought to fall today was the day. the caffe settled. a greater tennance and is now about a third of the space. a cozy, cozy feeling with enough atmosphere to feel it less like a company place. great drinks and a good lunch menu as well as a special board today was a suppe, an Asian dish, chicken cäsar salat and a porterhouse steak burger. there is a selection of salads including duck, and a series of focaccia and packs. friends had a truthahn pack and I decided to the burger. everythign was fresh and well presented and tasted great. burger was a piece of meat not minze and was delicate many fresh greens, cut tomatoes and small dishes with sauces. well cooked and presented just a little more season for my taste. I have also wrapped in a mini-load of coward and walnuts with pumpkin seeds. she saw healthy and tasted wonderfully so moist for a dense cake / bar. very friendly service and warm inside on a cool day. nice hour spent in a quiet room very comfortable and will return. enjoy
We spend six weeks in the year here and stay in the cbd. the do duck is the best reasonable place I found for breakfast. well prepared, consistent, good coffee and friendly staff. it could be more elaborate places, but they are not so comfortable and cost whole. much more. I've had a good lunch.
That was a great sound we visited twice. put them in and try the cakes and cakes. their cakes are homemade and filled with real flesh. the ice and speck cake was excellent and considerable. we went with 2 torments and 2 big pieces. cakes for $14. they also sell pizzas, sandwiches and rolls. and of course it is always a good sign when there is a regular procession of locals who come by.
Tucked down an alley way with a few other food places the Do Duck Inn Cafe is worth a visit. The prices are super reasonable. From memory my Bagel with Salmon was only $8. A delicious latte was $3.80. The owner (I am assuming) was...efficient but still friendly. The food and coffee excellent.
