I'm with Liz, I think that this place has the best service of any Chinese restaurant on Earth. I ended up having beef (with blackbean if my memory serves
We visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday night. The lobster with egg noodles was delicious, although the lobster meat was slightly tough and chewy, possibly indicating it was a bit old. The pepper steak had excellent flavor and seasoning, but there were more bones in the steak than expected. Despite these minor issues, it was overall a great meal and I would recommend it. Parking in the area was a bit challenging, but we managed to find street parking 2 blocks away.
We had a wonderful experience at this lovely Chinese restaurant in the Adelaide CBD. The service was friendly, the dishes were made with amazing fresh produce and seafood, and the staff were very kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, although it was a bit pricey. However, we understand the current inflationary pressures and can appreciate the reasons for the higher prices.
I visited Star House a few times years ago, and recently went with 2 friends for yum cha. The steamed pork rib and chicken feet were delicious, as well as the rice pastry with Chinese donut. The sauces that came with the dishes were also very tasty. The staff were friendly and provided fast and helpful service. The spacious dining area can accommodate a lot of people. We ordered 10 dishes and a glass of pineapple juice, which was more than enough for us. We almost finished everything and didn't have many leftovers. The total cost was over $100, which I found a bit expensive. However, the food was really delicious. I would recommend this Chinese restaurant for yum cha.
