Vitruvian Park Tavern - Addison

Stopped in last night with my husband to have a late dinner and drinks...I highly recommend the beef empanadas ? laid back vibes and great music!

I've been to Vitruvian Park Tavern several times and it's kind of a mixed bag of experiences. The chicken sandwich is pretty good, but the overall experience is sometimes lacking. One issue is the slow service, as they need more servers or bartenders. It can take a while just to get a couple of beers. One Sunday afternoon there were a couple of drunk guys stumbling around trying to get people to do shots with them, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. Live your own life, but leave me alone while I'm trying to enjoy a few beers with my friends. Another time I witnessed people trying to run on checks by jumping the railing on the patio. The vibe is always unpredictable. Overall, the food and drink selection are decent, but the service and atmosphere need improvement.

A lovely bar to drink at, but DO NOT WORK HERE AS A BARBACK. I worked 13 hours, as in two full shifts until around 2 am, and I was paid $40. Literally 40 bucks. Not even minimum wage for a regular employee, but just over the tipped wage limit to not be able to sue them.

My favorite place in Addison! Great food, service and drinks!
