I've been here a few times over the last couple of months and now that I know about Mario's I'll certainly be coming back. For lunch I've been getting the Italian sub sandwich. It's packed full of meat and the 11 inch is truly a huge sandwich. Wellcertainly not the least expensive place in the suburbs, a sandwich drink and chips are almost 17 bucks, but if you're lookingfor a good sandwich it's worth it.
Best cold cuts. Huge cooler full of fresh made food to go. The lady making the food in the back is the best! Try the egg plant parmesan.. it's out of this world good!
Today was my first time visiting this deli meeting friends for lunch. The tuna salad sandwich I ordered was too bland; it could have used some celery perhaps or a bit of green onions. My to go order,on the other hand, was excellent! The Italian beefsandwich was plentiful and with the sweet peppers, one of the best my husband had. The Italian sausage sandwich was very tastyand again seasoned just right and plentiful. I'll definitely will be back to try additional menu items.
Family owned Italian Style deli that's been around for years. Both hot and cold sandwiches, fresh salads, hot soup. The Italian dishes are great, I'm particularly fond of the Meat Lasagne and the Joey, which is a solid Italian Sub. Change up and try theChicken Salad Sandwich, it's not Italian but it IS super tasty. And don't forget a Cannoli or a Cookie for dessert too.
