Dave's Diner - Adamstown

Large local diner with counter seat and both seats. The food was okay. The oat flakes were brilliant with raisins, milk and brown sugar. The framed minced meat was very bland for one of their menus advertised top seller. Salt and pepper helped. The staff works very hard here and is very fast with you what you need.

Breakfast was good. My only complaint is that there were onions in framed minced meat. I have never heard that onions were in framed chipped beef before they were so overwhelmed that even my Bf, who loves onions, even said it had become sick. A type of cheated me out of place is 1 of the only places that use real chipped beef n not the chipped beef deaf. I think the cream chipped beef wld are excellent when the onions are left out.

There is quite often for breakfast, during the week and weekends. Breakfast was always good except for the potatoes that were like that. Last time we went there, we went in a Sunday morning after reading the sign? Sit down? So we went in and saw 2 empty stands and drove on one when we were stopped by one of the waiters who asked us? Who told you you were coming in? I said shield says you sit yourself and there are 2 empty cabins. The waitress said the table was not yet set up and sign the book and wait until we call you. I said why don't you knock the shield, so she changed it? Are you waiting to sit? That was enough for us to leave because I can spend my money somewhere and not be served by an rude waitress. left and went to the monastery restaurant in Ephrata. Ordered their speciality of 3 eggs, potatoes choice of meat and toast and coffee for 6.99. So Mr.Dave can you keep your rude waitress and I?ll spend my money elsewhere

This place is a jewel! We recently moved to the city and have eaten so often here. All we had was nothing less amazing. My favorite is the BLT. They don't take cash, but they don't have a big deal on the spot. I recommend trying!

Best diner in town by far. Home made soups (mushroom soup) and great menu. Give them a try
