Very well-prepared food with generous serving sizes. Friendly service and a no tipping policy! Corkage is only $15 if you want to bring your own wine. They don't take reservations but even on a Sat night you can get in quickly if you come a bit early or late.
Worth the wait for the food, best NY steak I have had in forever! However, get there right when they open because their entrees sell out quick and only a few items left to choose from once we were seated. Will definitely go back..
The food quality here is great. Small but quaint little restaurant. Small groups only but perfect for a table of 4 or couples. Pros: great quality, perfectly cooked food with a decent selection. The steak, scallop and pork quality is amazing and the prices are fair. $15 cork fee too. Cons: The chefs crutch of salt is overdone on everything and the soup/desserts are shot glass sizes. The martinis are laced with ice crystals and small, though they're only $11. All said this is a cool place that I will place as been there done that.
My wife and I lived in Adair Village for two years and this was our favorite restaurant in the Pacific Northwest. We've lived in a lot of places (NYC, Scottsdale, Denmark, Missouri, Portland) and we can't name a place where you can get a better meal for your dollar. We went around 10 times and never had a complaint. The chef always comes out to check and see how things taste. The menu is constantly changing, but there are always delicious steak and fish options. Things to understand before visiting: it's small and they only seat groups of 4, they are only open 4 days a week, they can be a little slow if it's busy. Also, they are a no-tip restaurant which keeps prices down. If you look through the complaints they're usually related to having a small restaurant with some pretty specific rules. If you have a group of less than 4 and want a hidden gem, definitely eat here!
We enjoyed a relaxing dinner here. The restaurant is cozy. Dinners are priced on the higher end but we enjoyed everything we ate and would definitely come back for a special occasion
