Bo Russ - ACQUI TERME

Friendly, welcoming people. Lunch menu is a limited list of primi and secondi, either written on paper in the window to read outside or listed for you by the waitress. Dishes are of mixed quality, some very tasty and others very ordinary. Desserts are fantastic. Wine list is extensive.

From the outside this looks perhaps rather more Bar than Restaurant. Inside it is definitely the latter. It has a warm, busy and buzzy atmosphere even arriving at nearly 2.00 pm as we did. The service was unhurried but theywere still very busy and we are on holiday. We very much enjoyed everything we ate. Delicious minestrone soup and memorable creme caramel. Would go again.

We went there as a family with 2 kids and sat outside. Nice view but not special. Not all tables were set. The menu was quite bizar as only in hand writing so apart from the Italian we could not make anything out of it so we asked the waiter but still had no clue. We thought we ordered tagliatelle but it turned out we got beaf with baked potatoes and grean beans. This was simple but very good so it was a good surprise eventually. Waiting time was short so all was good.

Good food, wide choice of well served foods. modern environment and international music!
