Tatale Vegan - Accra

This place has a very local feeling. If that's what you're looking for. We went when it was only opened after we heard that the owner owned his own vegan restaurant in London. We were super excited, but this is definitely not a good restaurant! We were disappointed. Food was very average... not impressive enough to go back. To be fair, it looked like they were trying, but they went far to reach British standards. Definitely not my cup of tea.

Good but not too great a choice of dishes. They could be a little more seasoned.

Only managed to get delivery on this ocassion but it was fantastic! So delicious! Very well packed as well. I ordered chickpea vegetable curry with brown rice, asked to get some tofu on a side and oh wow! It was so well flavoured. I also tried tatale. Everything was just wonderful, mouthwatering and full of flavours. Cannot wait to visit the restaurant in person.

Friendly group with the best selection and best service. I have tried more than 8 of the dishes in the last 2 months and all were superb.

First time in Accra and I couldn’t ask for a better welcome than Tatale! Bring your non vegan friends because this food will make you wanna show off! Authentic and out of this world delicious. Fufu Almond Butter Soup is to die for. The host Joshua is attentive, knowledgeable and just a beautiful soul. Can’t wait for the next time.
