Zibu - Acapulco

It had been a few years since we were in Zocalo, but it was as good as we remembered it to be. There were still some favorites on the menu, but also some new dishes, and they didn't disappoint. This is the only menu among many in Charlottesville that is really different and exciting. I had the duck breast cooked perfectly and accompanied by a great sauce, braised chard and an onion manchego bread pudding, and my wife loved her salmon. My starter, the tuna tartar, was too heavenly and had a healthy kick. Highly recommended!

Zocalo was recommended to us by a family member and we were not disappointed. The food and drinks were amazing. Everything was fresh and had a wide range of visual and palate attractions. Each of us chose a different entre and we tried each other out. The WOWs went on around the table, from yellow tomato / cucumber gazpacho, meatballs, steak, softshell crab, scallops ... delicious, delicious, delicious! All dinners came with beautiful pages that were incredible. I will definitely come again.

Zocalo is a charming restaurant with delectable food and friendly service. A visit is highly recommended.

Wonderful scallops and our salmon selection was cooked to perfection. Sat outside, which was comfortable and the waiter was attentive.

We have dined at this restaurant numerous times. The salmon is consistently delicious, as is the tuna tartare. The smoky groats and cous cous are both heavenly! They used to serve tasty rolls with olive oil, but unfortunately, they no longer offer them.
