To add insult to injury, I still had to pay for the meal and it was not cheap. By way of apology, I was given complimentary chicken wings which was a nice gesture, but still only a fraction of the cost of the duck. I was really upset by the whole experience. My thanks to Chris the waiter who tried his best to ameliorate the situation.
Missed our reservations due to a late flight. Dined the next day for lunch and the place is super cute, quaint and prepared for the Holiday season with a Xmas tree up. See the attached picture. Ordered: fajitas add prawns. Fish tacos and shrimp fried rice. Coke and water. The prawns were small and should be labeled shrimp but all the accoutrements were in place for the fajitas. The sour cream is more bitter than anything stateside and I thought it was a mix of ranch and something else. I could be wrong but it's not for me. The fish tacos were not tasted by me but came wrapped and cut angular. Looked like a burrito versus the traditional hand held tacos. Anywhoo, the menu states add on shrimp are N2,000 while the receipt claimed N3,000. I reached out via Instagram and got ax expeditious response and offer. We shall visit again next time because I intend to try the surf n turf. I can say their response is nothing like I've experienced throughout Nigeria. Plenty places have varying prices on their menu then POS. This isn't optimal given how scams can be executed to deceive foreigners and patrons but again I appreciate their professional reply. For that and the flavor of the fajitas cleanliness I shall return. P.S. they provide hot steam towels before dining at the table. Kudos. Especially during COVID.
The ambience was amazing and the food was pretty good. A bit pricey but totally worth it. I enjoyed the meal and I would definitely visit again
Came here for lunch. Fantastic because we came at a time the place was empty (lol) so had the place to ourselves. I had steak (ofcourse) my colleagues had salmon. Everything came to us as we had specified. Well done to the kitchen. They had a very good wine selection and service was okay (we were the only ones there) . They didn't have nestle water or Eva water..I declined to have the water on offer..suggestion to the owners when you have an establishment like this, don't go cheap on things like water.... Overall good place, ensure the dining area is kept cold though. Got a bit warm after a while. Will make a point to visit their Lagos outfit.
The staff was immediately overwhelmed when our group of 8 came, and couldn't find our reservation, so they had to scramble to set a table. For the first 15 minutes, nobody even considered asking if we wanted to drink something. Once the order was taken, it took another 20 minutes for us to get our drinks. My mocktail was okay, the others had beer, so no complaints there. But the food... The food: 2 of my prawns were okay, another one was raw. Taste was good, but raw seafood is unacceptable. My husband's steak, which was supposed to be medium, was cooked well on one end and rare on the other. The same thing happened to another guest at our table. The side of mixed vegetables was a teaspoon full of cubed and cooked-to-oblivion mush... The service personnel was utterly overwhelmed with the complaints. Facilities: mostly clean, the way to the bathroom has some uneven steps.
