Excellent hotel, but with few car spaces, but that's the least of it. Very polite staff, wonderful reception, the room where we stayed was very spacious and the bathroom was gigantic. On-site dining with restaurant, bar and breakfast. They were soft in a meal I ordered, the meat came with a bit of a burnt taste, but at the doneness I requested. But only once and that is 1% negative compared to the 99% wonderful that was the rest. There are great places very close by to visit on foot. Rooms: Spacious and airy, with heaters and a very large bathroom. Nearby activities: River, monuments and several distilleries. Safety: I have nothing to say, everything is very safe and organized. Walkability: Plenty of things to visit and close enough to get around on foot Food drinks: Bar and restaurant in the hotel itself and there is also a market next door.
Good food and good service .Will be back . Hotel highlights: Great value
Aberlour is absurdly beautiful and if you want a central and very cozy place to stay, this is The Aberlour Hotel! The room was much bigger than I thought, with a large bathroom with a great shower and smelling amenities. The room already has hangers, bathrobes and slippers, a good TV and items for making tea and coffee. The hotel has dining facilities and a bar with the best cider I had in Scotland. The food is delicious, both for dinner and breakfast! It is very close to the Aberlour distillery and the GlenAllichie distillery, you can walk to both. I recommend seeing the surroundings, especially the bridge over the River Spey. There is a market next to the hotel with lots of delicious and fresh things, great for buying water or some sweets. If you are traveling by car, the hotel has its own parking. Walkability: You can walk to the Aberlour and GlenAllichie distilleries, which is great if you're going on one of the Whiskey tasting tours.
