Large small place for brunch or coffee with a good selection of dips, friendly staff and a large outdoor area from behind. also place to park bikes safely in the backyard, which is very convenient!

Great addition also the alresford caffeine scene. beautiful interieur and beautiful garden

Food ok. Service appalling. Arrived and was told they would bring menus over. After 5 mins I asked another waitress for menus. After another 5 min wait collected them myself. The young waitress who served us clearly does not like her job. Not at all interested. I asked what drinks they did for babies. None but we can give a glass. Seriously. We waited and waited and then asked where our drinks were. The owner served us and when I complained initially she was gracious and apologised with the excuse being this first busy day?? Not all our drinks arrived! Let us just say this is the most over staffed coffee shop I have been in. Meals arrived and they were fine. Young waitress came to clear table and said she would come back to collect the rest. I went and ordered 2 slices of cake. 3 staff talking behind the counter. Has to ask for the rest of the table to be cleared. Again long wait for the cakes and now infuriated I asked why there was such a wait for the cakes. Owner came up with cakes and told me, loudly and rudely, that I should not speak to her staff in the manner I had. What. Exasperated? I was accused of throwing stuff over the table (I did not). To excuse the appalling service on a busy shift was outrageous. I had been there Friday for a coffee an cake. Only table in the cafe and service appalling then (hasten to add by same young waitress). Customer service skills clearly not a priority. And with all the problems we had encountered, the credit card machine was almost thrown at me and I was told no deduction would be made. Now I never give a business a poor review but they just took the biscuit

Beautiful equipment! whether they buy food or antiques, it is a great experience.

A grindburger has proven to be pink on the inside and the bungalow was cold, only the chips were edible. they were good enough to make a new one, but the taste was still moderate. would not recommend
