Station - Aberdeenshire

This is the best place in Stonehaven for both a pub and restaurant experience. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the staff are always so polite and helpful. The only minor issue (in my personal opinion) was that I found the macaroni cheese to be a bit too cheesy.

Had lunch in the dining room, which was lovely and quiet. Were advised that we would have to wait around 45mins for lunch as they were so busy but we didn't wait that long at all. The veggie haggis burger was absolutely delicious, their coleslaw is one of the best and chips are lovely. There was nothing negative about this meal. Service is great and will definitely be returning.

Stayed 2 nights on our Dundee to Aberdeen coastal walk. Located next to the train station its a gem of a hotel. Great food and a massive selection of whiskies in the lounge bar Rooms were spotless and all the staff were so so friendly. Breakfasts were amazing. A massive shout out to whoever does the omlettes in the morning, have to say the best ever I have tasted and believe me i have had a few)

I recently moved closer to Stonehaven and had friends visiting, so we decided to look for a place to dine. After reading the reviews of The Station Hotel, we decided to make a reservation. The reviews were well-deserved! The service was excellent and the food was impeccable. The macaroni cheese was delicious, the steak and Guinness pie was full of meat and covered in a thick, tasty gravy, and the beer-battered fish and chips were outstanding. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be a regular customer from now on.

I went to the restaurant on Friday afternoon for a meal. The lounge was bustling and lively. The waitress seated us at a table by the window. One of us ordered the chicken and I had the burger. The portion sizes were very generous and the food was perfect in every way.
