Saigon (only Order Online) - Aberdeen

I was not very impressed with this restaurant. I ordered delivery, but my son's meal was missing – he’s 8 and only eats the battered chicken balls. Trying to get him to eat anything else was futile. There was no way to contact the restaurant directly to address the problem, so I had to go out to a nearby takeaway to find a solution. This completely defeated the purpose of ordering food in the first place. I won’t be ordering from them again in the future.

The staff was incredibly friendly, but the food doesn't feel authentic Vietnamese; it resembles more of standard Chinese takeout, to be honest. While the presentation was impressive, the flavors were quite bland, lacking the distinctiveness of true Vietnamese cuisine.

The crispy beef was a disappointment, turning out to be mushy. Additionally, the restaurant has an incorrect phone number listed, making it impossible to reach them for any inquiries. My order arrived late, and they marked it as delivered even though it hadn't arrived, leaving no way to get in touch with them.

Still in lockdown due to COVID-19 and craving a takeout, we decided to order Chinese food from Saigon through Just Eat. We enjoyed a delightful platter of mixed starters, crispy aromatic duck, and a couple of delicious main dishes. It’s definitely a place we’d love to return to for another meal.

I visited this restaurant for dinner and opted for the all-you-can-eat option, which was quite an experience! They offered a wide variety of dishes, and it was a little overwhelming to think about overindulging. Some of the food was tasty, while others were just alright. The crispy seaweed stood out as unique, and the noodle basket was enjoyable as well. The desserts were a delightful surprise, and we found a way to make room for them!
