Stopped here on our way home for a quick drink and was pleasantly surprised. The palace was cheap and cheerful, would happily return.

Despite the profile pic, this pub no longer serves food. However, I was aware of this already. Met my friend for a quiet midweek catch up. Welcomed straight away by the bar man, found comfy cleen quiet space at the back. Great juke box and James the barman kept the drinks flowing. Would highly reccomend here if you want to hear yourself think.

Visited with a group of friends for a few drinks and food. I was informed that the kitchen would close at 6pm and that there was a limited menu but didn’t realise how limited. The only choices were pizza or Chilli. We ordered three pizzas and a couple portions of chips. The pizza came out after 25 minutes and was cold and reminded me of the cheap £2 Asda own frozen pizzas which We paid £6 each for. I returned the pizza and it took another 30 minutes to come out again. Second time pizza was almost burnt ! Needless to say we won’t be rushing back. So disappointing as pre lockdown this was one of our favourite places to eat as had a fantastic menu.

Visited on Sunday for food and drinks with friends. Lovely friendly atmosphere, food was delicious with healthy portion sizes. Juke box was free which I think added an extra enjoyment to the evening. Highly recommend and will be visiting again very soon.

I went here with my fiancee for food. The menu was a good size with an option to make your own burger choosing from different options. I had one of their special burgers. In it had beef, chicken, bacon, black pudding, haggis and salad. It was a MASSIVE burger that beat me as I couldn't finish it. The portion size of our plates where large and the staff where great. A good selection a beer. When you come here definitely have a burger.
