Przekaż informację zwrotnąOut for Sunday Lunch and having eaten previously at Inn at the Park attempted to phone a booking from number on website. Answerphone did not confirm recipient so turned up anyway. Dining room was cold (outside temperature around freezing) and almost walked out, being informed later that due to heating not having been switched on early enough. Opted for carvery and roast potatoes cold, which after feedback we were then supplied at table with apology and hot serving. Rest of meal was fine. Few other folk in resturant. Left as soon as finished eating, finding cost of meal inflated to that shown on website menu. Not an overall great experience which is a shame for what was a good option for eating out.
Great restaurant, great food, steak pie was lovely, though regretted not getting the carvery when I saw my friend’s plate. All the staff were great especially with kids and dogs. The young waiter and the chef were very friendly. Lots of seating indoors and outside- was surprisingly quiet for a sunny Sunday considering the great value for money
Very good food served in an exceptionally dog friendly bar. Coleslaw was home made, as were the onion rings and the burger was delicious. Staff were exceptional.
Fabulous homely hotel in a fab location. The food is all home cooked, and absolutely beautiful. What really made our stay here was the absolutely fabulous owners and staff. Especially Andrew and Claire. Andrew was so friendly and made sure my 5 year old son and I had a lovely meal, and he kept the wine flowing!! Claire is just such a lovely person who cannot do enough to help. Ronnie and Steph should be proud to have such caring , friendly yet professional staff on the team. I really hope I get the chance to go back.
I came here for a wedding, so spent 3 nights here. The hotel is very unique. The bar staff and housekeeper were so lovely and helpful. But the manageress Claire is really bringing it down, I don't think she knows what's she's doing. At breakfast I asked for soya milk, Alison was doing breakfast and said she'd get me some. They run to the shop and got it for me. Which was so nice of her. The next day I asked Claire for it, she said we don't have any, she was told before I came, that I have soya milk). Lucky Alison was there, as she had it. What manageress doesn't know what's in the kitchen. Plus I stay in a lot of hotels this being 3rd this week) and I never had problems before getting it. The breakfast was ok. She never said they'd run out of hash browns either on the Sunday. The food was ok. The couple who was getting married booked our rooms for us last year, but because we thought we would need our booking number we rung the hotel up to find out Claire hadn't booked them, we wasn't the only one's either. Lucky Ronnie was able to book as one. She messed my drink up twice as well. The fire alarm went off at about 2.20 am, but there was no staff on site. Claire wasn't even bothered either when we told the next morning. All she keep saying was she was tired snd had such much to do. I felt so sorry for the couple as she messed up for their special day. Our room was tiny and tired , the bed was pushed up against the wall, had a basin in the sleeping room with a chair facing it, wardrobe, tv, desk tea and coffee making tray. The wallpaper is peeling off, needs painting and the windows was covered in cobwebs. The bed was clean, but because its an old spring bed, I had backache. There is no lifts, so lucky we was on 1st floor
