Glancynon Inn - Aberdare

It's a shithole. landlord is a ****. badly run needs knocking down

We reserved a table at the Glancynon Inn more than a week in advance and even paid £45 for a bus to get there last night, only to be informed that there was no chef available. To make matters worse, the staff seemed to find the situation amusing and offered no apologies for not notifying us. We hadn't been there in a long time, and after this experience, we definitely won't be returning.

I had a wonderful afternoon tea. Thank you very much to the manager, who was extremely polite and helpful, doing everything possible for us.

I had an amazing afternoon tea today! There was a lot of food for the price, and the owner was lovely.

Thank you to the lovely new owners for a warm welcome and great service for our family meal. Lovely atmosphere, live music and great food.
