Thai d'Or - Abbotsford

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this restaurant! I have always been loyal to another Thai restaurant in town, but after trying this place, I think I may have found a new favorite. The curry was full of flavor and the pad Thai was excellent. I should note that I have only tried the vegetarian dishes so far, but even the tofu was prepared perfectly. The restaurant itself has a cozy lounge vibe, making it suitable for families or a night out with friends. I am happy that I gave this place a chance and will definitely be ordering from here again.

We this place and probably come at least once a week for dinner, if not more. It is by far my favorite restaurant in Abbotsford, and the main waiter is one of my favorite waiters. If I could give six stars, I would. The red curry and the shrimp pad Thai are our favorites. Make sure you check the hours before you drive out though. Sometimes they are closed at odd times. Highly, highly recommended.

During our journey from California to Alberta, we randomly chose this restaurant for a quick pit stop. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, generous portions, and excellent service. The dishes were well-prepared and flavorful, making us feel right at home. As a Southeast Asian family, we appreciated the attention to detail in the cuisine. The only downside was the slow service, as there were only two waitresses catering to the growing crowd on a busy Thursday afternoon.
